The reigning Miss Cayman Islands represents the Cayman Islands at the international Miss World finals — the oldest-running international beauty pageant.

The Miss World pageant is the oldest-running international beauty pageant, established in the United Kingdom in 1951. It is more than just a beauty contest; it emphasises the importance of “Beauty With A Purpose,” encouraging contestants to use their platform to make a difference in their communities and around the world. Miss World has raised millions of dollars for charitable causes, supporting sick and disadvantaged children globally.

Our pageant is a platform for empowering young Caymanian women and showcasing their intelligence, talent and commitment to community. Through this pageant, we select the dynamic young woman who will represent our islands with grace and pride at the Miss World international competition — fostering a positive environment where young women can shine and make a lasting impact on the world.

Beauty With A Purpose

A platform for change.

Beauty with a Purpose is the main charitable and humanitarian programme of the Miss World organisation, created in 1971 by Julia Morley. It requires each national contestant to develop, fund and promote a local or global community project — and the most impactful initiative receives a significant fast-track prize.

The programme has raised over one billion pounds sterling for disadvantaged children and healthcare, making it one of the most successful philanthropic arms in the world.

Julia Morley, President of Miss World, received the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in 2022 for her charitable and voluntary services to disadvantaged people around the world.
